Volume 1, 2007
The Federal Circuit Historical Society is proud to present its first publication of,
"The Journal of the Federal Circuit Historical Society, Volume 1."
In June 2006, the Board of Trustees of the Federal Circuit Historical Society approved going forward with the project of producing a periodic Journal reflective of the Society's core mission of preserving and disseminating the history of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
The goal was to assemble the first issue, with text and photos, before the end of 2007, the year the court is celebrating its 25th Anniversary. It is with great satisfaction, and with an earnest hope that the Journal will prove to be a worthy addition to the oral and written history projects already in progress, that the Society presents this inaugural issue, fittingly dedicated to the first Chief Judge of the court -- the late Howard T. Markey.
Current members of the Federal Circuit Historical Society will receive a free copy of the Journal and additional copies may be obtained for $25.00 at:
901 New York Avenue, NW
